Hab mir mal den Schlussanstieg der 14.Etappe der Tour de France , von Geishouse zum Col du Haag, angeschaut ...am Samstag kommen die Jungs hier vorbei.
O la la...kurz vorm Col wäre ich fast geplatzt , ist schon was anderes als die "Hügel" im Pfälzerwald....

Sentier des Roches 🇫🇷
Toller Felsenweg vom Col de la Schlucht aus in Richtung Martinswand. Die Temperaturen waren in der Höhe wirklich erträglich, am Ende des Sentier lädt die Ferme Auberge du Frankenthal , also quasi die " Frankedaaler Hütt " mit Elsässer Spezialitäten zur Einkehr ein.
Den direkten Aufstieg dann zu wählen war…

Der frühe Vogel....
schwitzt nicht ganz so arg. Erst auf dem letzten Kilometer kamen Brathähnchengefühle auf , ansonsten verlief die ganze Strecke im Schatten. Es gibt echt keine bessere Klimaanlage als den Wald....herrlich 🌳😁

Nach dem gestrigen Ruhetag ging es heute auf meine letzte Etappe nach Kenmare . Petrus war mir hold und es gab einige spektakuläre Ausblicke.
Der BearaWay ist wirklich ein phantastischer Weitwanderweg , ursprünglich und rau , der allerdings auch ,je nach Wetterbedingungen, sehr herausfordernd sein kann.

Allihies nach Eyeries 🇮🇪
Nach einer stürmischen Nacht ging es fast niederschlagsfrei über einen Küstenweg nach Eyeries.
Eigentlich war geplant noch weiter zu gehen und wild zu campen , aber da das "Gelände" ziemlich unter Wasser steht und die Taucherbrille nicht dabei ist, mach ich doch tatsächlich zum ersten Mal im Leben Glamping...🫣😅

Adrigole nach Castletownbere 🇮🇪
Bis auf einen halbstündigen Schauer war's von oben! tatsächlich trocken und die Sicht war auch ganz passabel.
Die Strecke verlangt einem durch ein paar knackige Anstiege ein bissl was ab und da heute Nacht 20l /m2 Regen angesagt sind , kommt das B&B gerade recht....
