Exhausting, breathtaking, unique,
you can't really describe this papa daughter tour.
We took the bus from Riezlern in the Kleinwalsertal via Oberstdorf to Reichenbach. From there it went on the ravine path of the Geisalpbach past cow pastures to the lower Geisalpsee, then over the Geisalpstieg towards Rubihorn. This climb became steeper and steeper from meter to meter. Leah was very close to the task shortly before the summit. After the descendants gave her courage and talked about the breathtaking view, she decided to continue. The right decision as it turned out. A short break at the summit cross and we continued with the descent over the Rubihornsteig in the direction of Geisalphorn. After a while we left this path to start the descent over an avalanche lane towards the Nebelhornbahn in Oberstdorf. The aisle was tough, we suffered with everyone who came towards us to get to the Rubihorn from this side. We are sure that we have chosen the right path with the ascent over the lower Geisalpsee because the path over the aisle is a permanent zigzag with little view of the surroundings. In the end, we decided to take the Nebelhornbahn (middle station) at the Seealpe and then take it up the mountain. After a short refreshment at the Nebelhorn, we drove down to the valley. All in all, an exhausting, successful, unforgettable day.

Fleeing the bad weather in the Allgäu, just set off, was our new goal: sun and warm.
Reached the border crossing (Ös / It) on the Brenner, it was warm and the sun came through more and more.
Due to the return traffic and the bad weather in Germany (we were told) all the camping and parking spaces around the Brenner motorway were full and we had to be a little further away from the motorway.
After a bit of back and forth we got a parking space. This was a valley away from the Brenner in Predaia, more precisely Merlonga near Coredo.
Due to the lack of proper internet, a tour planning was not possible and on Wednesday we could only go on our bikes.
The result is this wonderful tour in the midst of what seems to be infinitely large apple and small cherry plant pockets and through narrow streets of many small towns,

The changeable weather took advantage of a short hike over the Timberland Trail to Bad Kohlgrub. It was too inconsistent for biking. Let's see what tomorrow brings, probably on Wednesday. We really like the Reindl campsite / parking space. Small, cute, familiar, clean, simply beautiful.

The section of the Main Cycle Path between Bamberg and Zeil was still missing, so we have now gradually ridden the cycle path from the Weismainquelle to Kitzingen. Today's part is not the most beautiful, long along the busy road from Bamberg to Eltmann it was a bit annoying, plus there was a strong headwind. The return trip was a bit more relaxed.
