At the end of the year I really wanted to go on a winter hike. Fortunately, the weather of the last few days has given us a lot of snow 😌🌨️❄️☃️.To see a lot of snow I had to go 700 meters. Unfortunately, there isn't much under that.
Doesn't matter 😁. The starting point was the Großer Bildchen hiking car park above Siedlinghausen. From there it went via Altastenberg to Nordenau and back again.
      Simply fantastic 🤩❄️.
The drive up there was really worth it!
But you should avoid Winterberg and Co. It felt like half the Ruhr area here in the Sauerland.
There was chaos on the roads towards or from Winterberg.
From Siedlinghausen I had virtually free travel.
      Finally seen snow again 😃

Today we went to Kallenhardt. This small village is beautifully situated on the hill 😃😌.Right at the beginning I had a great view of Kallenhardt.
The paths were mostly natural, which is what I really like best 😊. A bit muddy, but it was still possible ... was worse ...
Then it went on to Körtlinghausen Castle.
Just by the way: relatives of the Arnsberg noble family Fürstenberg live in the castle.
Then came an absolute highlight for me ... A path past rock formations and along the Lörmecke 😌👌.At the hollow stone there were again great views and enough benches for the snack 😀.At the end there was another great view of Kallenhardt from the Kalvarienberg.Clear recommendation of the tour. Well worth it 🤩Lately komoot has stopped showing me photos of highlights 🤔.
      Do you see them ??

Incredible that the last hike was 3 weeks ago 😵.
Since the weather looked good this morning and rain was unlikely ... Put your boots on and go 😁
From the village of Calle it went uphill to the chicken stone. From there you have a great view of Calle, Wennemen, Freienohl and Oeventrop 🤩.
From there it went over the Markshöhe and Wallen back to Calle.
The second half of the route was mostly asphalt, which I found semi good 😬.
Otherwise a great route with great views 😎

In all of the tours I've already done, I've hardly been in the Sundern area 😅.Thanks to @Melanie_Wandern in the Sauerland. I got the tour from her! 😃👌
Super varied route with great views!
      I can only recommend!!

A second time up to the high Bracht 😃.
No matter if spring or autumn. Always a great tour with fantastic views 🤩😎🍁🍂.
From the Hohe Bracht down into the valley I walked a little across the street. It is better to just walk back a bit through the forest and then continue. Some drivers think the road belongs to the Nürburgring 😣

A nice autumn round through part of the Arnsberg Forest😊🍁🍂. At the beginning of the tour I had a great view of Oeventrop, Rumbeck and part of Freienohl. Later I just followed the Schmalenau 😊Unfortunately, the forest vehicles destroyed a large part of the hiking trails, so that in part it was a really muddy affair 😐
Anyway, it was still great 😁🍁

Today we went from Schanze to the Rothaartsteig to Latrop.
The proportion of forest here is already very high. There were hardly any prospects. After the many prospects of the last few days, this hardly bothered me today.
At the end we went over the suspension bridge, the forest sculpture path and the Kyrillpfad.

Started in hazy weather, but it cleared up a bit afterwards. 😀Today it went from Bruchhausen past the castle and then up to the Niedersfelder Heide (Clemensberg). From the summit cross you have an incredibly beautiful view 🤩. From there it went through the heather, over a piece of the Rothaatsteig, to the highest "mountain" in North Rhine-Westphalia, the Langenberg.
The last highlight with a mega view were the Bruchhauser stones. Hammer 😁😎.

Elfringhauser Switzerland stretches from Hattingen to Wuppertal. The start was a hiking car park below Hattingen. Not so dissimilar to the Sauerland 😁. On this route there were really great forest paths with great views. When I wanted to take a break anyway, I discovered a "built-up buffet". There were homemade pies and cakes. For € 2.50 you could take a piece. There were even plates 🤩😌👍. I learned from a few hikers that the neighboring farming family has been doing this for years. Really great 😎So all in all a great tour 👌
