If you are cycling on the west side of the loch it is passable on road tyres (I.e. 28c) but it is majority gravel so if you are wanting abit more fun/speed I would suggest some 37c tyres at least.

A healthy mixture of light and loose gravel that climbs up and away from Loch Eck. If your bike (or your will power) isn't keen on gravel then a well paved road runs parallel.
