Wooden fishing pier at the estimated location of Jacob's landing, and later an early industrial pumphouse, along the pre-contact natural shoreline. The lagoon was formed by landfill for the construction of the I-80 freeway covering the destroyed wetlands.

Wonderful trail within the aquatic park following the Aquatic Park lagoon. Highly recommend visiting at sunset for a peaceful waterside stroll.
