Munggeweg – fun and games with Amdo Mungg
Playing, gymnastics, groping, walking barefoot, balancing: the Munggeweg family hiking trail in Amden is not only a lot of fun for children, it also promotes skills and imparts knowledge. An eventful excursion for the whole family!

From the village of Amden, young and old can first float up the mountain with the Mattstock chairlift. Right at the mountain station, the marmot Amdo Mungg welcomes the children. There he shows them on his map where to go. 12 exciting stations along the Munggeweg are waiting to be discovered with all your senses.
Exciting encounters and marble fun
From the mountain station, the path leads east past mysterious touch boxes, an animal enclosure with cute bunnies and climbing opportunities up to the large observation tower. The highlight of the Munggeweg awaits at the highest point: the popular wooden marble run. What fun how the marbles roll down! The little ones are out of breath due to the constant running back up. It's a good thing that it's only going downhill from now on.
Mysterious forest with barefoot path
The Munggeweg now leads over two fun suspension bridges, through a fascinating forest and along a barefoot path to the ancient spruce, which has a lot to tell. If you are hungry now, you can make a fire at the nearby rest area to have a barbecue. Strengthened, we continue with vigor to the Murmeliwand, which is just before the starting point for a great souvenir photo with Amdo. You can either float back to the village on the chairlift or walk along the meadow path.
