Today is the last and most beautiful stage. Firstly, it was golden October, as kitsch as it could be. And secondly, we saw the famous sights of the Hermann Monument and the Externsteine.

Today the weather was a different story—more rain than fog. The rain accompanied us throughout the day with occasional showers. But when the fog cleared, we finally had a view of the surrounding area. A beautiful, colorful autumn forest.

Today's stage was dominated by fog. Unfortunately, because the ridge path should have offered good views at many points. So all we could do was walk and enjoy the things nearby.

The fourth stage was varied and quite challenging. This time, it wasn't the constant drizzle, which only started in the second half, but the muddy climbs. Or if there wasn't mud, then smooth limestone paths. Surefootedness was key.

Today's stage offered a beautifully varied route through the colorful Teutoburg Forest. Due to the persistent drizzle combined with persistent fog, there were unfortunately no truly beautiful views, which would have been possible otherwise. I think the photos speak for themselves. 🤷🏼‍♂️

This stage took us from Bevergern along the Dortmund-Ems Canal into the Teutoburg Forest. Beautiful hiking trails through a diverse, colorful autumn forest. Unfortunately, the weather was gloomy and autumnal. However, the mood in the group was sunny. In contrast to the first stage, this one is highly recommended.

This year's hiking week takes us along the Hermannsweg trail into the Teutoburg Forest. We're Lutz, Regina, Floh, Claudia, and me.

I would describe the first stage as a "warm-up." The stage was flat, mostly asphalt, with a bit of forest. Meadows and fields, along with the farms that surround them, predominated
