On the Widderalpsattel you have five options to continue your journey. Crossroads towards Widderalp, Hundstein, Meglisalp, direct path via Trüest down to Kreuzböhl and the Marwees. The Widderalpsattel is located on a hilltop and so you have a beautiful view of both sides. Once towards Hoher Kasten with Sämtisersee and in the other direction, to Säntis, to the Bötzelkopf, Altmann and other mountains.
There is also enough space here to take a break, sit down comfortably, rest a little and enjoy the view.

From here you have the opportunity to get to the Hundstein via a rather demanding "path". The route over the Marwees is also challenging. Other possibilities are the way to Meglisalp or in the other direction to the Fälensee (and Sämtisersee).
