The view from this point into the heart of Alpstein (on the Seealpsee with Ageteplatte, Säntis, Hängeten, Altenalptowers and Schäfler) is beautiful. When you start a hike in Alpstein past the Seealpsee, this view is always a wonderful start and your heart starts to beat faster.
On the way back I stop here again and again and take a wistful look back into the Alpstein and look forward to the next time ... and tackle the way back through the hut hut with beautiful memories from the previous day 😊.

There are wonderful views not only along the path to the southwest of the Seealpsee, but also of the sloping meadows on both sides and behind them the rock faces and rocky peaks of the two Alpstein ridges that enclose this great high valley.
