The Lindahl Fountain is located in the Ringpark, named after the landscape architect Jöns Persson Lindahl. The Swede designed the rock fountain himself, and you can see one of his few portraits.

Opposite the New University, in the middle of a group of trees, is the Lindahl fountain. A bronze relief created by Peter Feile is emblazoned on the rock fountain in Sanderglacis, which Lindahl had built while he was still in office. The memorial was created 14 years after Lindahl's suicide on the initiative of his friends to commemorate the Swede's achievements in gardening. Lindahl tombstone A second, late appreciation was heavily criticized during his lifetime, and after his death honored city gardeners were given. After 95 years his remains were reburied in the honor grave of the city of Würzburg. The old tombstone, which has become superfluous in the main cemetery and consists of a column and a pedestal, can be viewed just a few meters from the Lindahl fountain and forms the Lindahl memorial with it.
