The entire corner section of the Svobody Street block at the intersection with Sovetskaya Street is occupied by the huge multifunctional building of the Deribesov Trading House. Built at the end of the 19th century. Part of the building was occupied by the Deribesov Hotel, part by shops and a branch of the Volzhko-Kama Commercial Bank.
The decorative elements of the facade design are borrowed from the classics, but overall the decoration is in the spirit of eclecticism.
Balconies, parapet grilles, a large canopy on cast-iron pillars, carved entrance doors gave the facades an elegant, but somewhat pompous look.
