Tornado Man wooden sculpture (monument) and rest area in the Hüttertal valley.
Information:
Special events in the Hüttertal valley, such as the devastating tornado on May 24, 2010, have led to changes in the landscape. These include effects on the flora and buildings.
To commemorate this day, the monumental sculpture "Tornado Man" was carved from the trunk of a fallen oak tree in 2011. Due to the rotting root system, this sculpture fell over in 2022 and was re-erected on a new foundation next to its original location in 2023.
