    The Fichtelberg Suspension Railway began operating in December 1924, making it the oldest aerial cableway in Germany. The three-and-a-half-minute ride takes you from the valley station at 905 meters above sea level to the mountain station at 1,209 meters. The railway's technology was completely renovated in 2012, and the cabins in 2021.
