The cave is a collapse cave with two entrances. The short course overcomes a height difference of a few meters in easy climbing. Despite the small size, it is initially dark when entering. Artificial lighting is not absolutely necessary but recommended.

If you want to experience a little adventure, you can crawl through the herring cave here. It is really pitch dark in the cave, a flashlight is an advantage. If you do not want to go through the dark cave, you can of course pass it by.

Although the cave itself is not quite as spectacular as expected, but the way leads there through the natural breathtaking Teufelsgrund. In some places it is quite narrow and also with water and mud can be expected in the rainy months, but the beauty of nature compensates for all efforts.

Natural circular route through a very pristine valley. The clean air, clean water and prevailing cool cellar climate allow a variety of rare lichens, mosses and ferns to live here. The path should be taken with sturdy shoes. You also have to pass through some narrow crevices in some places where water and mud can stand. If that does not bother you, you will be rewarded with a wonderful natural backdrop.

The devil dreads are a challenge for adults. Certain sections can only be squat. Recommendation: start the round with the devil snakes! and return to the starting point via the Devil's Chamber.

The cave is located in the Devil's Gorge and can be reached only with slight "climbing" over / under the rocks lying in the gorge. But a detour is worth it.
