This new section from Hindfeld to Gleichamberg creates a gap between the Celtic Cycle Route and the Werra-Obermain Cycle Route (WOM). The new cycle path is striking for its course along the edge of the forest when approaching from Gleichamberg. The road must be crossed twice. Nevertheless, this new section offers greater safety than before, as the route from Gleichamberg to Hindfeld required cycling directly on the road. A definite plus for cyclists and a successful section.

From Gleichamberg to Hildburghausen there is now only one weak point in the cycle path network. This is the stretch from Simmershausen to Bedheim. There you still ride directly on the road.
