The last stage back to the car began with a lot of fog. At Berching I left the Altmühltal and drove along the Ludwig-Donau-Main Canal. It was interesting how the canal was built and used in the past.

The second stage started coolly and ended at the Danube just before Regensburg. The city is beautiful, but the people are very difficult. No service! A successful after-work tour to the demolition of the cooling water towers near Schweinfurt. Unfortunately, the signposted cycle path to Bad Königshofen had a 4 km detour via Eyershausen. Going directly to Höchstedt as planned would have been better.
