Lake Unterbach offers recreational fun for young and old. Hiking, biking, miniature golf, a playground, swimming, sailing, stand-up paddling, a climbing garden, and experiencing nature... Here on the eastern shore, a flood washed away a lot of soil, and with great effort, a wonderful resting area was created. It's a perfect place to rest or have a picnic and enjoy the view of the lake!

Here on the eastern shore of Lake Unterbach, heavy rainfall in the summer of 2021 swept a 100-meter-long section of the path, including the embankment, into the lake. This flood damage was not repaired until spring 2023, and now a terrace made of natural stone can be found at the very exclusive lake view point (especially at sunset).

In May 2025, Anna Mrzyglod's four sculptures were created on the eastern shore near the panoramic staircase:
A toad, a heron, a beaver, and fish.
