For me as a hobby gardener, the botanical garden is an oasis for the soul. These wonderful old trees are places of power in themselves. Again and again there are places to rest and look at the variety of plants and exotic species.

The botanical garden on the Gugl is one of the most beautiful plants in Europe and shows around 10,000 different plant species.
Among the plants are native flora, marsh and aquatic plants, American and Asian woody plants, insect-catching plants and much more. The special feature is that whole groups of plants are put together to form landscapes. The highlight of every visit is the largest cactus collection in Europe with around 1,000 species of cactus. There is also a rosarium that shows the history of the rose, an alpinum and a tropical house.
