The subway line U1 crosses the Alster via this bridge. It is certainly older. When and who built them, unfortunately, I have not yet realized.

Hudtwalckerstraße (Bundesstraße 5) crosses the Alster via the Winterhuder Bridge and connects the districts of Winterhude and Eppendorf. A few meters north you can make the same crossing away from traffic over the Fährhaus Bridge, which is only permitted for pedestrians and cyclists - and take a look at the impressive, now 102-year-old Winterhuder Bridge.

The Winterhuder Bridge carries the federal highway 5 over the Alster and connects the Hamburg districts of Winterhude and Eppendorf. It is easily passable for cars, cyclists and pedestrians on both sides and offers very beautiful views of the Alster. To the south, you can look across the Alster to the U1 subway bridge, which connects the Kellinghusenstraße and Hudtwalkerstraße stops. This subway bridge runs parallel to the beautiful Seelemanpark, which is located directly on the Alster.
