We took the route in Mid July. Very hot and demanding. If you follow the counter clockwise route then the descent is marked clearly with rocks all the way down to the Finca. The trip back is another thing. It is up a stream which is more or less dry in July. The ascent is demanding and involves close to 2 hours climbing. The sign when you leave the main stream says 3 but possible to do faster. Recommend good shoes long pants and good fitness and some patience at the top where the high grass makes the route more or less invisible. We used navigation to find our way at the top. Last km is a gravel road. If you're still keen on going then do it. It is a great hike.

The time is definitely wrong. You have to allow for 5 hours. In addition, I would classify the hike as difficult: especially if you follow the indicated path, there are a few climbing sections that have to be mastered. The way back over the Barranco is definitely difficult and exhausting.

I have never seen a hike on Komoot where the information (time and difficulty) was so far from reality. Based on the information, we set off much too late and therefore had to complete a significant part of the hike in the midday heat. With breaks we needed a total of 6.5 hours. The trail is difficult to find in part due to the grass and long pants are strongly recommended.
Without the right equipment and preparation (avoid water, early start around noon) the hike is life-threatening! With good equipment, fitness and enough time, the hike is easy to do and the nature is breathtaking, but you have to know that beforehand and prepare accordingly.
