    From up here you have a unique view of the highest peaks of the Tramuntana mountains and the peninsulas of Formentor and Victoria, which frame the Bay of Pollença to the north.

      Mallorcans say the name Tomir is derived from the Mallorcan expression "tot mir" (dead to me).
      If you read that as a German, some might believe it, but translated, it means "everything I see." This refers to the impressive view, which is indeed gigantic. Binoculars might be worthwhile here, also because of the reintroduced black vultures that circle here.

        The summit of Puig Tomir (1,104 m) is misleading, when it seems that the path is about to reach the highest point of the mountain, it begins to slope to the left towards the apex of the summit. The views make up for any emotional disturbance. The Puig Tomir is a fantastic balcony in the northeast corner of Mallorca. The steep ridge of Cap de Formentor points straight towards the distant island of Menorca, which appears on the Mediterranean horizon on clear days. To your right is the arch of the bay of Pollença and behind it the bay of Alcudia, a unique and incomparable coastal landscape.
