                An originally Carolingian one-room church from the 8th/9th century. The floor plan shows Romanesque and Gothic extensions (position of the tower) as well as renovations after the destruction in 1945. The former parish church at the Andreasstift became the starting point of the Protestant movement in Worms in 1521 and is considered one of the oldest Protestant churches in southwest Germany.
                The Magnus Church is a three-aisled, transeptless and flat-roofed pillar basilica with a straight choir end, a transversely rectangular choir area and two smaller, longitudinally rectangular side choirs. Protestant sermons were held here during the Reichstag of 1521. This makes the Magnus Church one of the oldest Lutheran churches in southwest Germany.
                The exterior measures around 27 m in length and is around 17 m wide. Above the square side choir rises a 52.2 m high square bell tower, which was built in 1952/53 to replace the old tower that was completely destroyed in 1945. The five square tower floors with corner blocks are crowned after a strong setback by a slender, octagonal bell floor made of red sandstone with high sound arcades and a steep spire.
