Herrnsheim Castle is one of the most outstanding Empire-style castles in Rhineland-Palatinate, and its park is idyllic and offers numerous photo opportunities. It's easy to imagine couples strolling arm in arm with a parasol, à la Jane Austen. Incidentally, you can tie the knot here in the castle—or even in the park; the park is a very popular backdrop for wedding photos.

from April to October, always on the third Sunday of the month
