Worms gauge house

The Rhine water level has been measured since 1819. The gauge house has been on the Rhine since the late 1920s. It is surrounded on both sides by two other small buildings that were built in 1855 when the ship bridge was built, so they are a good 70 years older. To the left of it is the Gelderhaus, which once served as a payment office for the bridge toll. To the right of the gauge house is the dam guard's house. It would be a great tourist attraction if you could have your own level measured after visiting the beautifully situated restorations around the water level house. That would be a historical object made fit for the future. One should think about it in the tourism department. ;)
