The Karl Lehr Bridge connects the Duisburg districts of Ruhrort and Kaßlerfeld. It crosses the Vincke Canal, the drained Kaiserhafen, the harbor canal and the Ruhr over a length of around 800 m. The first bridge at this location was opened in 1864. In 1949 the bridge was rebuilt with parts of Cologne's Hohenzollern Bridge after both bridges were destroyed in the Second World War.

Since 2015, the Karl Lehr Bridge has been renovated in several construction phases. At the end of 2022, the new bridges over the Ruhr and the harbor canal were floated into their temporary positions. After the old Hohenzollern bridge parts are demolished, the new bridges will replace them.
