          To be honest, I was a little disappointed. We were there on a cold January 1st and the air was cold and damp from the Elbe, but I didn't find the view so intoxicating. You can hear the traffic down in Koenigstein. I found the view from the "Rehbockhöhe" 10 minutes before this vantage point, where the path leads down to the village of Pfaffenstein, much nicer: there is a rest hut, you have great meadow slopes and a completely free view of the Königstein Fortress from the broad side. It's great there! :-)
