In my opinion one of the most beautiful rocks in Saxon Switzerland. From here you can see all the highlights around. Both the weathervane view and the refuge view are fantastic.

The Gohrisch offers many facets. The path first leads through a beautiful forest and climbs steadily, then you slowly see the cliffs behind the trees and the area is lined with rockfalls. As you get closer to the peak, there are different ways to climb the mountain. A freer staircase, a narrower staircase (both suitable for the way there and back) and finally the special ascent via the Falkenschlucht (only suitable for the ascent and tested with a large photo backpack :D). Once at the top, it leaves you speechless. Various mountain hiking trails (good shoes required), small stairs and easier paths lead across the summit plateau. If you really want to experience something, you have to be willing to take risks and devote yourself to the mountain hiking trails. A visit with children or dogs is not recommended, as you need good surefootedness here!
