A side road with little traffic leads steeply down to the dam that dams the Alesani river into an impressive lake. After crossing the dam, it goes up again just as steeply on the other side.

The dam of the Reservoir d'Alesani is a very impressive earth dam, from its crown you have a nice view up to the valley and down to the sea. On the valley flanks you can clearly see where the rocks for the dam were broken. The road leads from both sides moderately steep down to the dam, so you definitely have to go back up. The rubber is currently (06/2018) rather bad, a little caution and enough pressure in the tires is recommended.
