The unpaved section of the route is practically impassable because the path has almost completely washed away. Only very experienced (fully) mountain bikers can find their way down here. You'll have to walk 3km.

Nice and cheap camping spot, went there for a night during our corse bike packing trip with bikes and tent, everything was rudimentary but totally fine.

Not far from the center of Corte, the Tavignanu and Restonica rivers flow together. There is a lovely bathing area under the pedestrian bridge. There is a parking lot right next to the bridge.

The Vergio Pass culminates at 1,467 meters above sea level. It connects Haute-Corse and Corse-du-Sud, as well as the two sides of the island, from the interior. It is one of the meeting points between the GR 20 and the GT 20.
