Open Saturdays and Sundays. During the week in winter, opening hours depend on the weather. You'll also receive friendly service on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. The food is delicious, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the owner is almost always involved in the business, rather than just letting the boss do the work. I always enjoy coming here. Come and see for yourself when you're here.

The dam of the reservoir was built in connection with the construction of the Röhrgraben (Röhr ditch) from 1396 to 1404. It served as a reservoir for the Röhrgraben and the stamp mills located there. This is where Station 16 of the mining trail is located.

The Greifenbachstauweiher (also Dammteich or Geyerscher Teich) is located between Geyer and Ehrenfriedersdorf and was originally created for mining. The lake is now used for domestic water supply, flood protection and recreational purposes, including swimming and boating. The Greifenbachstauweiher is one of the oldest dams in Germany.

In summer, the Geyrian Pond is very popular for swimming. Right next to it you can rent a pedal boat, some of which also have a slide. Eating at Silvio's Imbiss is also highly recommended. In winter, ice bathing takes place at the lighthouse every Sunday.
