The largest wine crate in the world is in Geinsheim and is a real eye-catcher! This huge wooden crate was built in 2018 by the “Goisemer Baschone” leisure club for the wine festival parade in Neustadt. It is 4.5 × 3 × 2.4 meters in size and found its permanent place at the western edge of Geinsheim in 2019. The wine crate quickly became a popular photo motif and landmark of the wine village. Many visitors come by to have their photo taken in front of the huge crate.

A rest area with a wooden cross with carved reliefs in the middle, the inscription “In the cross is healing” What I liked was the wooden lounger with a relaxing view to rest on :-).
