Knight Stefan von Mörlheim, co-founder of the Cistercian monastery of Eußerthal, donated his manor, including a chapel, to the monastery in Mörlheim around 1148. The Houschder Winegrowers' Tower near Hochstadt was built in 2004 by the Hochstadt Community of Participants and commemorates the land consolidation of 2002. A viewing tower surrounded by vineyards, it offers a 360° panoramic view. The viewing platform is accessible via 18 steps. Inside the tower, there is a shelter, and outside there is seating with a table and benches, as well as a sun lounger. A visit is especially worthwhile at sunrise and sunset, when the landscape is bathed in a magical light.
