In this green space in Übereisenbach, a strip of paving and a metal sign mark the 50th parallel north. At the foot of the tree at the eastern end of the marker, metal signs point to other towns located on the 50th parallel. This elaborately designed area, located a few meters from the border with Luxembourg, is the westernmost 50th parallel marker still located in German territory.
