In the restaurant, which is also a tourist office, you can borrow a walkman, which will give you a tour of the village. A walk of about 3/4 hour. Borrowing the walkman was free in 2024. You can set the language to Dutch.

Superb village with architecture typical of this region, including this church

This village is listed among the "most beautiful villages in France", but the local star is the church, hidden at the back of the square. Fortified, it only reveals its charms to the most daring. Ruins of an old power station that used to be an old blacksmith's shop. Quite nice if you're passing by anyway, but it doesn't have enough to offer to warrant a special trip there.

Parfondeval is a village located in the commune of Archon, France. It is one of the most beautiful villages in France and invites you to walk in authentic rural France, in a beautiful natural environment. The church of Saint-Médard is a weather church in the typical style of the region and is the only church with a decor that tells the history of the weather churches.
