The Kühlungsborn marina is a lively hub of the Baltic Sea resort, inviting visitors to stroll and linger with its maritime flair. Directly in front of it runs the harbor promenade, lined with restaurants, cafés, and small shops, perfect for a relaxing stroll. Visitors can admire the moored sailboats and motorboats, gaze out over the Baltic Sea, or enjoy the sunset. Especially in summer, there is a lively atmosphere, when vacationers, locals, and sailors come together to experience the special Kühlungsborn harbor atmosphere.

The centerpiece of the complex is the Doberan Minster, a High Gothic brick church from the 13th century, considered a "pearl of North German Brick Gothic." In addition to the minster, other historic buildings have been preserved, including the ossuary (c. 1250), the granary, the ruins of the outbuildings, and the wool barn. The almost completely preserved monastery wall, 1.4 kilometers long, dates back to 1291 and is the longest of its kind in Germany.

The Fountain of Joy of Life is a fountain located at the central University Square in the center of the Hanseatic city of Rostock. The walk-in fountain is also known locally as the "Porno Fountain."[1] The fountain was created by the sculptors Reinhard Dietrich and Jo Jastram and inaugurated on June 27, 1980.
