The Kühlungsborn marina is a lively hub of the Baltic Sea resort, inviting visitors to stroll and linger with its maritime flair. Directly in front of it runs the harbor promenade, lined with restaurants, cafés, and small shops, perfect for a relaxing stroll. Visitors can admire the moored sailboats and motorboats, gaze out over the Baltic Sea, or enjoy the sunset. Especially in summer, there is a lively atmosphere, when vacationers, locals, and sailors come together to experience the special Kühlungsborn harbor atmosphere.

Top-notch bike path: good asphalt, and even better: magnificent views over the Salzhaff waters. It's prone to wind, so it's best to pay attention to the wind direction.

Anyone approaching Rerik should take this detour: the old fishing village appears across the water. The promenade takes you directly along the water to the harbor and pier.

In late April and early May, the view of the Baltic Sea with its blooming rapeseed in the background is particularly impressive. These are the colors of Mecklenburg: the blue sea, the fresh green of the fields and meadows, and the bright yellow of the rapeseed. Added to that is the intoxicating scent.
