Alone or in a group... Here you can sing one of the local songs presented. Since I was alone in the forest, I gave it a try! I think the birdsong 🐦 was much quieter afterwards than before - maybe I should probably leave it alone?! 😂

Nice and calm maar. The descent is a bit steep. There are benches downstairs to enjoy the peace and quiet and nature.

A little outside the center of Bad Bertrich, a small grotto with a small waterfall right next to the road can be easily reached by bike or on foot!

There is less going on here than on the Pulvermaar because there is no car park in the immediate vicinity. If you want to go there, you have to use your legs.

The Immerather Maar is one of the smallest marshes in the Eifel. It is a declared nature reserve and very scenic. The hiking trails around Immerath and its Maar, to the mills and to the Üßbach are inviting.
