The Amalienhof wine bar on the Beilsteiner Steinberg invites hikers to take a well-deserved break with regional delicacies and exquisite wines directly from the surrounding vineyards. The Old Württemberg Moat, whose construction was begun by Count Ulrich V in 1456 and continued by Count Eberhard im Bart until 1495, originally marked the northern border of Württemberg. In the following three centuries it served mainly as a source of customs revenue. However, as its strategic importance was only minor, it was abandoned in 1803 and was then increasingly subject to decay.

A former residential tower from the 16th century, built on the site of a previous structure (around 1300). Today, it serves as the operational and residential building of the Burg Wildeck wine-growing experimental estate. Entry to the castle courtyard is not permitted.
