Idyllic gem in the Swabian-Franconian Forest Nature Park between vineyards and dense forests.

The Bleichsee is an artificial lake on a plateau near Löwenstein in the Swabian-Franconian Forest Nature Park, which takes its name from the bleaching of cloth that used to take place there. There is a circular path along the lake that invites you to take a quiet stroll, as do the benches. In early summer, water lilies even bloom in the Bleichsee, while in autumn the colorful autumn leaves are reflected on the surface, creating an Indian summer moment. If it is cold enough in winter, the Bleichsee even freezes over. (Source: Heilbronner Land)

What a beautiful little castle and with a beautiful pond in front of it. Like something out of a postcard, but almost on your doorstep

The Köpfer reservoir serves as flood protection. Even though the lake is idyllically situated in the forest, swimming is prohibited here.
