Great viewpoint in the national park

Thanks to Astrid Lindgren from Näs in Vimmerby, Emil from Lönneberga (known as Michel in German-speaking countries) is known to all children, young and old, as a rascal who was locked up there by his father as punishment for his pranks or well-intentioned mishaps and used the time to cut. Perhaps more creative than the Silent Staircase.

Whenever Michel played one of his pranks, he was locked up here and, out of sheer boredom, carved wooden figures.
