okay bike path running right next to the road, continues a bit further north beyond this segment, occasional lakeside views, and the local industry does not smell as bad as did in the 1980s :D for what it’s worth, the alternative route via Salosaari (Kaljaniementie/Patotie) is nice as well...

There are toilets at the harbour, and the ferry sells drinks and ice cream. Tickets can be bought from Matkahuolto website.

Very imposing old wooden church. Seems to have been built extra large so that you can already see it from accross the bay.
