Säkylän hiekkaranta is a popular sandy beach on the shores of Lake Pyhäjärvi in south-west Finland. Cyclists can reach the area easily via quiet country roads, and there are nearby picnic areas and rest spots. In summer, small kiosks may be open, but it's a good idea to bring your own snacks and water. The beach is flat and accessible, so no special gear is needed beyond standard cycling clothes and a lock for your bike.

Säkylä is a scenic town located between Lakes Pyhäjärvi and Köyliönjärvi. It’s popular for outdoor activities and is often called “Little Lapland,” thanks to its winter sports on the frozen Köyliönjärvi. Local events like the “Kaislikossa Kuhisee” summer festival add a lively cultural touch to this peaceful lakeside destination.

Direct access to the water, BUT, directly beside an event venue and RV park. Continue along the track to the east corner of the lake if you want something less sunny but more secluded.
