Beautiful medieval center a real sight

This cemetery is located directly at the mouth of the Ems River and is the remains of the village of Oterdum, which was demolished in the 1960s and 1970s. The village had to make way for the widening of the embankment at the mouth of the Ems. On a website dedicated to the commemoration of the village, sketches of what it once looked like can be seen.
