This museum is in memory of all the Jewish inhabitants of Leek who were deported and murdered during the Second World War. In this school building, the Jewish children of Leek were taught the Jewish religion and the Hebrew language.

The stone plaques on the outside wall of the museum 'Het Joodse Schooltje' are engraved with the names of all the Jewish residents of Leek who were deported and murdered during the Second World War. In this school building, the Jewish children of Leek were taught the Jewish religion and the Hebrew language. After the war, the building was used as a shed. The oldest part of the church is the rectangular chancel, built in the early 13th century. This part still has four pointed arch windows. There are also two bricked-up priest's entrances in the north and south walls. The chancel is straight and decorated with two closed round-arch windows and three white, climbing round-arch niches in the gable. A buttress was also placed against the chancel to prevent it from sinking. The tower is several decades younger and is characterized by large wall anchors.
