Blauwestad (German: Blaustadt) is a new residential area in the Dutch region of East Groningen, roughly between the towns of Winschoten, Midwolda, Oostwold, Finsterwolde, and Scheemda. We often cycle there from Aschendorf. Beautiful nature. A little inconspicuous on the way is a small waterfall that you can walk under. You have to be careful, otherwise you'll ride right past it. There's a small sign.
