Perhaps the nicest segment of this mountain bike route; many hills, drops and bends in all sizes. My kids even wanted to go over this a second time.

It has rained a lot in recent weeks and the groundwater is high. Some cycle paths are partially closed because the water is so high. Even on this sandy plain with the appropriate name "The Sahara" there is now a pool of water!

Farm De Oude Mars is a national monument designed in 1938 by architect P.A. Lankhorst. In the meantime, the original farm has been completely restored and functions as a care center.
