In Rijssen, at the foot of the Rijsserberg, there is a narrow-gauge railway track where brick factories transported their raw materials about 100 years ago. You can visit this track and take a ride on it with various types of narrow-gauge equipment.

Unfortunately it was closed because today is King's Day.

It is better to ride this one in less sunny weather

A lovely starting point for hikes through the Sallandse Heuvelrug National Park. The trails are well signposted and there is something for everyone. From the 13 km loop to the short stage through the Kabouterpad for the little ones. The cafeteria offers delicious food at reasonable prices.
