The mill 't Slot is located on the Punt in Gouda.

The Reeuwijkse Plassen are a long, elongated water and nature reserve near Gouda, created by medieval peat extraction. It's a popular area for walking, cycling, and especially for boating and stand-up paddleboarding. Around the lakes, you'll find beaches, nature, and charming restaurants and cafes, especially near Reeuwijk-Brug.

The Reeuwijkse Plassen consist of thirteen lakes, twelve of which were created by peat extraction in the 18th century. One lake, the Broekvelden/Vettenbroek, was only created in the 20th century by sand extraction. Today, many of the lakes are used for water recreation.

Molen 't Slot is a grain mill. Molen 't Slot stands near the old town center, in a beautiful spot along the Hollandse IJssel River on the city ramparts. The dark green beard with a white border reads: 't Slot ANNO 1832. As early as 1581, the city council granted permission to build a grain mill on this site on the foundations of the recently demolished castle of the Heeren van Ter Gouw. Since the 2019 Heritage Day, the management of this mill has been under the control of the Association of Gouda Millers.
