The Reeuwijkse Hout is a nature and recreation area near Gouda with hiking trails, a beach, playgrounds, and water sports. You can spot birds, swim, and enjoy restaurants like 't Reeuwijkse Hout. Dogs are welcome in certain areas.

The "Phoenix" warehouse in Bodegraven is an industrial monument dating from around 1905, originally built as an oil mill and later used by the Andrélon shampoo factory. After closing in 2005, the building was transformed into a residential complex with 32 modern owner-occupied homes. The characteristic facade and chimney have been preserved and, together with its location on the Oude Rijn river, form a striking image in the village.

Nice tower that overlooks part of the Reeuwijkse Plassen and part of the Reeuwijkse Hout. Tower is not very high so for most people reasonably climbable. Worth the effort to go up!

A beautiful passage from Mije to Nieuwkoop v.v. along the lakes through the green. For walkers there are, on certain parts, separate walking lanes along the lakes. The meadow is inhabited by sheep. Please note that the concrete path can be dirty from sheep droppings and pee.
