Impressive little town, a former fortress.

In the harbour of Hellevoetsluis the historic ships are neatly moored in a row. Enjoy the quiet lapping of the water and the view of the impressive ships that reflect the maritime history of this place.

The harbour of Hellevoetsluis is an atmospheric place with historic ships on the quays. You walk and enjoy the view of the old fortifications. Around the harbour you will find cosy terraces and restaurants, ideal for a snack or drink with a view of the water.

The café next door has an easily accessible and clean restroom. Unfortunately, I couldn't photograph the exterior of this church. I thought there was already a Highlight of it. There's also a beautiful organ inside. I didn't manage to photograph that either.

It is wonderfully quiet cycling here, without the hassle of mopeds.
